Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a mutual insurance company providing

health coverage to more than two million members in Iowa and South Dakota.

Team Leader Compensation/HR Operations

2010 -2010

Promoted to this role in May with the responsibility for compensation,

along with prior accountabilities. Responsible for analyzing and modifing

compensation policies to establish competitive programs and ensure

compliance with legal requirements, with a specific focus on executive

compensation.

. Increased efficiencies with onboarding process; reducing the number of

process steps from 350 to 125. Collaborated with process owners such

as physical security, information security, IT, and HR; to review

current processes and identify efficiencies. Created easy access forms

for onboarding resulting in cost savings and mitigation of errors.
