Benefits Online Application is a complete Retirement package consisting of
subsystems such as 401(K), Non Qualified plans, Defined Benefits, EXSOP and
ESPP. This application enables the participant and plan sponsors to access
their accounts through web enabled BOL application by entering their user
id and password. The Application is divided into different Applications
based on the User Level. The User Levels are categorized into Participant,
System Administrator, and Developer etc. The Account balance comes from
various sources depending on the various accounts held by the participant.
The Home page displays the content generated by the Content Management
System (CMS). The Plan Sponsor information is stored in Oracle database and
the Participant information is stored in mainframe.

State Farm Insurance is one of the largest insurance companies serving
people all over America. Payroll automation system was an in-house product
that was developed to automate the functions and activities of employee's
services. The main application gets executed at the Head-office and
networked to every Corporate and City office such that they had real time
access to the application remotely. This application was used to maintain
employee information, calculate the number of hours worked by an employee,
deduct taxes, track sick leaves and vacation days and keep up to date with
tax law changes. This software consists of four modules i.e. employee's pay
information, sick and vacation days, tax information and
allowances/deductions. I was involved in System testing of the project. The
application was developed in two-tier architecture. Obtain rate quotes for
life products including term, whole and and health products including
supplement and hospital income. Save, retrieve and compare rate quotes.
Submit application information for auto property, life and policies. Submit
online claims for auto and property policies. View and changes policy
details and request policy related documents.
