*************@*****.***

Career Objective:

To obtain a responsible and challenging position where my education and

work experience will have valuable application

Work Experience:

Currently working as a software development engineer, Bomgar corporation,

Ridgeland, Mississippi.

Summer intern, Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, Moss Landing, CA,

USA: Worked with a team of MBARI software engineers to bring oceanographic

instrumentation and its interactions onto the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).

Many test cases, written in Java programming language, were used to

interface with the Apache ServiceMix ESB, thereby to test the

functionalities like Message Routing, Transformation, and security provided

by ESB. Also, tools like Stylus studio and Oxygen were used for mapping

between various xml files.

Research Assistant in the field of Continuum Robotics, Department of

Electrical Engineering, Mississippi State University, Mississippi State,

USA: Being a member of Robotics research group at Mississippi state

university, our aim was to design and develop the continuum robots that

mimic the astounding capabilities of elephant trunks, octopus arms, and

mammalian tongues. Coding and simulation were done using C++ and Matlab

respectively.

Teaching Assistant for Microprocessors course, Department of Electrical

Engineering, Mississippi State University, Mississippi State, USA : Lab

experiments were conducted on PIC24 micro controller. Resolving various

software and hardware issues, organizing lab tests for students, and

grading papers were part of my job.

Project Engineer, Real Time Embedded Systems, C-DAC R&D, Hyderabad, India:

Initially, pursued a diploma in embedded systems (6 months course work) at

Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), and acquired knowledge

in various real time embedded concepts like Real Time Operating Systems

(RTOS), RTLinux, ARM, DSP (ADSP 2181), Device Drivers, and wireless sensor

networks.

Later, as a project engineer at CDAC got the opportunity to work on the

prestigious Wireless-Sensor networks Application Research and Development

(WiSARD) project, which based on creating a pervasive computing

application, allows farmers to remotely monitor the essential field

parameters such as humidity, temperature, and solar radiation. Simulation

of the communication network among the motes (a multi-sensor node with

operating system and memory), and also between base station and motes was

achieved using OMNET++. The WiSARD project was a collaborative work of many

groups. However, being a member of the integration team, got the

opportunity to understand and coordinate with all other teams work. Most of

the development was done in C++.

Web Administrator, Department of Electrical Engineering, Mississippi state

university, Mississippi state, USA : Duties include development of the

department's web site and providing support for the department's database

server using open source web technologies like PHP, Java Script, HTML, CSS,

and MySQL.

Web developer, Institute for E-Governance (IEG), Hyderabad, India: The main

focus was to computerize the chosen government offices. Revenue Divisional

Office (RDO) and the Labor Welfare Department (LWD) were prioritized among

all others because of the amount of labor work involved. With Successful

deployment of these automation projects, drawbacks with manual process of

the Register maintenance system were solved. Thereby, accuracy and security

were greatly improved; moreover, delay in forwarding the petitions was

minimized.

Educational Qualifications:

Masters in Electrical Engineering with 3.81 G.P.A at Mississippi State

University, USA (2007 January -2009 December)

Bachelors in Electronics and communication engineering from JNTU, INDIA.

(2002-2005)

Diploma in Electronics engineering from State Board of Technical Education

and Training, INDIA (1999- 2002)

Key Skills:

Programming : C, C++, Core Java, Assembly, Matlab

Operating Systems : Win 9x/XP, Linux

Processors (?C, ?P, DSP) : ARM 7TDMI, AT 90S8515, ADSP 2181,

PIC18FXXXX

Real Time Operating Systems : RTLinux, MicroC/OS-II

Web Technologies : PHP, Java Script, HTML, and CSS

RDBMS : MySQL

Integration Platform : Apache ServiceMix

Graphics : Open Inventor, Coin3D

Projects:

Interval analysis and Jacobian null-space control for continuum

manipulators, research work, Mississippi State University, USA: Numerical

instability problems in kinematic formulations obtained when trunk-like

continuum robotic manipulators assume a straight posture were determined

using filib++ library. Implementation was done in C++. Matlab was used for

further analysis(graphs), simulation(Coin3D), and testing (MUnit).

3-Joint Robotic arm, Introduction to Robotics course project work,

Mississippi State University: Major responsibilities for this project

includes deriving kinematic formulations with forward and inverse

kinematics, design, simulation, and finally construction of the robotic

arm. PIC18F4550 was the micro controller chosen for this project. Coding

was done in C and Assembly. The final 3 joint robotic arm was autonomous

and successful to perform the assigned task.

Nano kernel, CDAC, R&D, INDIA: Nano kernel, a minimum operating system with

fixed number of tasks, like toggling LEDs and serial data communication,

written in assembly programming language. Timer 1 was used as the kernel

timer with a time slice of 10ms. After each time slice, tasks were

scheduled using round-robin algorithm, and the context switch took place in

the timer interrupt handler.

Design and validation of Energy Efficient Routing Algorithm for Wireless

Sensor Networks, CDAC, R&D, INDIA: Wireless sensor nodes consist of

sensing, data processing and communicating components. Recent advances in

wireless sensor networks require protocols specifically designed for sensor

networks where energy awareness was an essential consideration. The main

objective of this project was to design a protocol considering the

essential factors like power, cost, overhead, bandwidth, and route

establishment between a pair of nodes. Simulation was done using Network

Simulator-2(NS2) and OMNET++.

Activities and Achievements:

Volunteered to assist with several robotics competitions, such as the

FIRST, BEST, MSU robotics camp, and the SECON

Selected for the prestigious Summer Internship 2009 program at Monterey Bay

Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), CA, USA

Student member, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

since 2002.

Secretary, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Student

Chapter at Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology.

Won the best paper presentation award at Anna University for "Line Codes

for Optical Fiber Communication".
