2002. South La., performed a work-over to remove stuck wire line tools

Gas lift valves in a well located in the East Lake Arthur field
using a barge rig. This was a difficult operation and resulted in
restoration of 500 barrels per day of flowing production

2002. Argentina: Moved in large snubbing unit and served as Under-
balanced Drilling Supervisor for Chevron Argentina on a high
pressure well in Patagonia.
Served as senior company representative on Parker 25J
offshore from Grand
Isle, La. We drilled to 14,000', set liner, completed
well, installed 82" casing
For production platform for Remington Oil & Gas-Dallas,
TX
Served as senior company representative for Meridian Oil on
Marine 15 jack-up rig 76 miles off the Louisiana town of
Intracoastal City. The
wells are located in 153 feet of water and average around
15,000 ft in depth. It is
an over pressured area with a gradient of 0.83-0.84 psi per
foot.
2001 Drilling and completing deep gas wells in the Rio GrandeValley of
Texas for
Kerr McGhee and Whiting Petroleum Corporation.
Drilling for Exxon Mobil in the King/Kennedy Ranch areas of
Texas - deep
High-pressure gas wells.
Managing coiled tubing rigs and Nitrogen units for sand
washout, etc on water.
Managing E-line work for plug backs and perforating from
barges for GoldKing.
2000 Served as manager for a small company to plan and re-enter an old
plugged salt
dome producer to test all zones behind the pipe and complete,
for Signa

Drilling vertical wells for Eminent Energy in Lavaca County,
Texas.
Drilling, testing, and completing shallow wells in North
Texas.
Served as Senior Drilling Engineer for a well established
Drilling Engineering
Consulting Firm to write well plan outlines, prepare cost
estimates for 21,000 ft
wells in the Gulf of Mexico. We estimated costs for two wells
to be drilled with
Semi-submersible and then drill 16 wells using a Platform
Rig.
Provided relief for a Drilling Engineer/Well site manager for
a deep gas well in
The Rio Grande Valley
1999 Served as manager for an individual to set up a rig along state
hi-way 23 south of
New Orleans, drill a 3000 foot lateral under the Mississippi
river and then drop
the hole at a 29-degree angel to total depth of 9700 ft.
Served as Drilling Manager/Shore Base Manager for offshore
drilling in the
Former French Colony- Republic of the Congo. This was for CMS
Nomeco in
Southwest Africa. Duties consisted of supervising all
drilling supervisors/
engineers, rig personnel, completion engineers, drilling
department accountant,
warehouseman, purchasing, helicopter and boat scheduling.
This was platform
drilling using a barge/boat tender. Drilled several long
laterals with horizontal
completion sections of 4000 to 6000 feet; deep verticals with
long horizontal
completions; did interim work-overs for re-completions and
centrifugal pump
changes. Performed several work-overs that required cutting
and pulling 9-5/8"
casing, milling out a section of 13-3/8" casing and drilling
a new directional
with a horizontal section for completion. Other duties
included daily engineer-
ing for Production department and assisting the banking
department. This was a
hostile environment with a civil war occurring in this state
as well as neighbor-
ing states.
1998. Served as Assistant Drilling Manager in order to help write well
plans for a very comprehensive drilling campaign in Southwest
Africa. We prepared individual well plans with directional
programs, which were all approved by management. I then went to
the Congo and set up a system to execute these plans. Accepted
the rig and anchoring boats from AGIP and helped to start the
program. Wrote contracts for all local and international service
companies working on this project. Prepared AFE's for all
projects.
Served as contract Assistant Drilling Manager for Kerr McGee in order
to prepare drilling time curves and AFE's for both shallow and deep
water areas. This work involved over 30 blocks in an analysis for an
upcoming lease sale in the Gulf of Mexico.
1997. Worked in the Republic of the Congo as Drilling Staff, Test
Engineer, Rig
Manager and Drilling Manager to perform a work over and
then drill deeper
in the Maseko area offshore from the Congo. We used the
Robert F. Bower
Drill Ship. During the last part of this work I was the
lone expat for all of this work.
1993-1997 General Manager and Base Manager for indigenous and independent
oil
companies in Nigeria. Served one year as Base Manager for Pan Ocean Oil
Company. Had a home and base in Warri and an office and flat in Lagos.
In charge of all oil and gas operations with 180 Nigerian employees, five
Expatriate drilling engineers, and one expat mechanical engineer. Used
two Rigs owned by Deutag, one for drilling deep wells and one for work-
overs. We kept both rigs working constantly for one full year. Performed
numerous work-overs for dual wells and five singles. Drilled five new
deep wells, (150**-*****'). Increased production from 600 bopd to over
14,000 bopd. Built roads in to virgin forests in several states in Africa-
dense jungle.
Served as General Manager for Dubri Oil Company for three years. Had a
Home and office in Benin City and an office and guest house in Lagos.
Was responsible for smooth operation of all exploration and production
Operations. Had to barge the oil out of the jungle up the Ossi River to
Chevron/s Escravos facility on the coast. Increased production from 240
to over 3,000 bopd. These were low capacity wells. There were no other ex-
patriates in this company. We had 125 Nigerian employees.
1987-1992 Professional Petroleum Engineer-
Accepted a one year assignment as CEO of Baxter Drilling & Exploration
Co. of California. My duties were to hire department heads and run the
Company while carrying out the duties as CEO. We drilled 42 wells in the
Wilcox trend in north Louisiana, and participated in 7 deep wells in South
Louisiana. Hired the employees and turned over the company to owners.
1978-1987-Professional Petroleum Engineer- Provided professional services
to: Wright Energy of California, W-J Oil Company, Reserve Energy/Western
Crude of Ft. Worth; Barclays Bank of England, and Yates Petroleum
Corporation of Houston, Tx. This work involved detailed engineering
relative to drilling, re-completions, work-overs, water flooding,
acquisitions and running companies for banks pending foreclosures in
bankruptcy. Also included a one-year tenure as CEO of Baxter Drilling and
Exploration of California while hiring a complete staff for the company.
1973-1978-Mitchell Energy Corporation- Senior Vice President - Oil & Gas
Operations. Responsible for day to day running of a large Independent E&P
company. This senior post was also responsible for coordinating all banking
and reserve back-up for loans and in charge of Purchasing Department. I was
senior officer in charge of the two drilling companies- Butler Drilling in
Houston and MND Drilling in Bridgeport, Tx. The two companies had a
combined total of 18 rigs ranging in depth capabilities from 3,000 ft to
over 18,000 ft. MND also had 11 work-over rigs. Both companies had their
own trucks, trailers and shops. I was also in charge of Southwestern Gas
Pipeline Co., in Mineral Wells Texas. I was charged with the responsibility
of planning and executing the drilling of many wells offshore Gulf of
Mexico and also land drilling in more than twenty states. There were over
900 employees in the above companies.
1971-1974-American Petrofina Company of Texas
Manager of Production and Exploration in USA Responsible for all
exploration and production in U.S. including engineering and evaluations
for acquisitions. This company had over 300 employees and 3000 wells.
During my tenure we acquired over $150 million in new properties and
drilled hundreds of new wells, both on shore and off shore. My experience
was enhanced by being company coordinator for both accounting and
purchasing departments as well as being our representative to a group of
companies who along with Stanford Research were investigating the economics
of shale oil production in Colorado.
1958-1971 American Petrofina Company of Texas
Division Manager - Company's largest division. We had 62.5% of the
production department's income.While running this division I participated
in many acquisitions. Most of the acquisitions were in this division with
Cosden and Grayridge being about 125 million dollars. We drilled several
hundred wells over a thirteen year period ranging in depth from 1300' to
over 16,000' in the Devonian and Silurian trend.
Graduated from Oklahoma University with a BS in Petroleum Engineering I
worked from 5:00 PM to 2:00Am in the Oklahoma City Field as a night
troubleshooter while going to Engineering School I graduated with honors
having been President of the National Honorary Petroleum Engineering
Society. I went to work immediately as a drilling and production
engineer. I participated in the drilling of several slant holes to the
deep bromides in Southern Oklahoma. We also drilled eight new duals in
West Bay field in the swamps below New Orleans. We used both jackups and
swamp or Posted barges. This was for British American Oil Producing
Company. Prior to attending uiversity, I worked in roustabout gang,
became a pumper, ass't Production foreman, relief material clerk and
relief district clerk
