Objective: Secure a challenging position in an EDI

Summary: 25+ years progression through Information Technology roles of

P/A, senior P/A, Technical Lead, and Project Management utilizing multiple

software development lifecycle methodologies in employee and consultant

roles. Project Management engagements were over software development

groups and mixed software / infrastructure engagements. These engagements

include a full internet yellow page web site and, most recently, enabling

product tracking of Consumer Packaged Goods with RFID "smart labels" to

meet retailer mandates utilizing EPC Global standards and publishing

product information to the GS1 Global Registry for data synchronization.

Experience writing Request For Proposals, the vendor selection process, MS

Project, MS Office suite, and Visio utilities to manage projects with multi

million dollar budgets. Comfortable presenting to and interfacing with all

06/03-Present Lead Application Architect, EDI System Administrator, and

RFID Project Lead - Provide programming and EDI Administration processes

for all aspects of EDI Partner configuration, maps, processes, and

communications for development, test, implementation, and production

support utilizing Sterling Commerce GIS in MS Windows environment. Also

provide program support for the M204 Order Entry system and all Loads and

Extract jobs to legacy systems. Provide project leadership for RFID

tagging project for our ready-to-assemble furniture division. Provide in-

depth RFID discovery, write 38 page request for proposal for vendor

outsource, evaluate vendor proposal responses; develop vendor cost

comparisons, scheduling finalists' presentations, selection participation,

and all vendor communications; develop and present RFID presentations to

all levels of management, aid in budget process for the RFID project,

schedule all levels of meetings and communicate with internal RFID Steering

Committee, lead project through production implementation to include tag

test selection and placement on product, site spectral analysis, middleware

software solution and hardware selection, LAN/WAN upgrades, design and

develop the legacy system interfaces; keep project on time and on budget,

and completed project ahead of schedule in May 2005. Currently, leading

RFID project to apply Tags on the manufacturing plant assembly lines.

Qwest Communications, Inc. / Englewood, Co. 08/97 - 03/02

03/01 - 03/02 Project Manager for the IT Internet Group team supporting

all maintenance, enhancements, new product and database processing for the

Internet Yellow Page web site. Supervise 18 plus vendor staff with budgets

totaling 4.5 million dollars. Provide full project management lifecycle

and yearly team budget estimates. Met all project deliverable on time and

with in budget constraints.

Provide Project Management for 3 groups of software developers to include

M204, Oracle, and an intranet web site development staff with

responsibility for budget, schedule, and delivery of products on time and

within budget. Utilize ABT workbench and MS Project scheduling tools.

Ported Sybase data to M204 DBMS, provide this data via intranet browser

pages, to Customer Services Macintosh workstations for client calls dealing

with internet yellow pages advertising.
