I am submitting the enclosed resume for consideration of a position in

the fabric or design industry. My background has given me extensive hands

on experience and knowledge with a wide variety of fabrics. I have

operated my own interior decorating business for the past 15 years, at

which I specialized in custom window treatments. I design and fabricate

my own creations. I learned to sew at a very early age and I have been

dealing with fabrics of one type or another for the majority of my life. I

graduated from California State University at Fresno with a Bachelors

Degree in Art, my emphasis being on design. During my schooling I spent

two semesters dealing specifically with color.

During my fifteen years as a decorator I have worked with a multitude

of fabrics and trims ranging from low end to high end. I have not only

gained experience with the textile end of the decorating trade, but I have

also sold myself and my design ideas to every client I have worked with. I

have done mainly residential projects, but I have also been in charge of

several commercial projects as well. I have worked with clients as well as

contractors and I am a very friendly and easy going person who gets along

well with everyone. I have a very positive attitude and always try my best

to resolve conflicts in the most expedient way possible so that everyone is

happy and satisfied with the outcome.

I am located in the San Joaquin Valley, California, and at the present

time I would need to be employed in this area. I'm hoping that I could be
