PERSONAL PROFILE

Educated to Bachelors level and specialized in Communications with 5 years

work experience in Huawei Technologies Pakistan as RF Engineer & RF Team

Leader. Working alongside the latest technologies including CDMA 1X/EVDO

Rev-0 & Rev-A, Rev-B, WiMAX and equally conversant in all aspects of mobile

radio network planning, deployment and optimization in both technical &

practical environments.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Working as Radio Network Planning and Optimization Engineer in HUAWEI

Technologies Pakistan since December 2005 until now (First Job after

Graduation).

PROJECTS

1. PTCL CDMA 1X-EVDO Rev-A & Rev-B WLL Project (Dec 2005 to Feb 2007, Aug

2007 to Jan 2008 & April 2008 to present ):

PTCL is a CDMA WLL operator in Pakistan with nation wide

coverage. Huawei has deployed major part of the network with 1X

service in all over the country and EVDO Rev A service in major

cities. My working role is RF team leader for end to end

delivery of RF services.

2. Worldcall CDMA WLL Project (Feb 2007 to July 2007 & Aug 2008 to

present):

Worldcall is a CDMA WLL operator in Pakistan with 1X & EVDO

services in major cities. Huawei is the only service provider to

Worldcall. I have a consultancy and Technical Support Engineer

role for this project.

3. Wateen Georgia & Buraq Telecom WiMAX Projects (Feb 2008 to April

2008):

. Worked for Presales and Bidding for Wateen Georgia WiMAX

Project

. Performed coverage and capacity requirement analysis in order

to meet customer needs in effective manner

. Performed network estimations, predictions and network

simulations

. Prepared Radio Network Planning Proposal illustrating coverage,

capacity and Frequency Planning results in detail

. Prepared KPI Baseline, SOC and RAN parameter sheets according

to customer requirements

. Drive Testing for Coverage and Data Rate Testing at different

modulation schemes using XCAL-X

. Drive Test data analysis and report generation using XCAP-X
