Design, develop and lead strategic IT vendor management program, including
the sourcing strategies to leverage and expand partnerships with key
vendors; introduce managed services, material commodities; determine
strategic sourcing and vendor relationship management strategies for
vendors and commodities. Set direction and policy for external spend.
Increase value added possibilities by partnering with key strategic
vendors. Manage and coordinate $91M annual outside services spend for the
department. Define strategy for each spend category and each strategic
vendor relationship. Link strategic suppliers to departmental objectives.
Execute strategic sourcing for required category spend. Lead cross
functional teams to define and execute vendor strategy and departmental
approach for sourcing activities. Lead for software compliance and audits
and selection of asset management vendor. Manage IT staffing requirements
(full time, staff segmentation and temp-to-perm), manage the MSP/VMS

. Executed strategic vendor management of IT application development and
support in 2005. Total category external spend of $34 M. Base lined
the costs, developed an economic analysis, completed a market
assessment, and issued the RFP. Reduced the number of vendors from 30
to 2 prime vendors, resulting in an estimated recurring annual savings
of $11M. Redefined the PDLC process to utilize the 2 prime vendors
only. Continue to manage the vendor relationship.
. Completed a second successful sourcing of all application development
and support in 2009. Saved an additional $4.1M annually, with
increased SLA's and KPI's. Continue to manage the vendor
relationship.
. In 2009 completed successful sourcing activities which saved PSEG
$20.8M. In addition to above application savings; reduced wireless
voice and data spend by $1.68M over 3 years, wired circuits by $1.7M

. Manage IT sourcing for software licenses and maintenance (i.e.
Microsoft, SAP, HP, IBM)
. IT's lead for two separate staffing cross functional strategic
sourcing teams. First sourcing initiative in 2001 reduced the $40M IT
spend on staff augmentation to $4M, reduced supplier base from 34 to 3
vendors, reduced consultants from 225 to 35, and improved the process
to acquire and manage these resources. The second sourcing occurred in
2011 and was for all full time, right-to-hire and staff augmentation
resourcing. The second sourcing initiative developed four tier 1
suppliers for all IT staffing needs. I manage all sourcing
requirements, budgets, vendor relationships, quality of resources,
SLA's / KPI's of suppliers, and own the governance. Manage the MSP
and VMS operations for all IT staffing (full time, right-to-hire and
temp).
. IT Team Lead for PSEG merger with Exelon. Developed 11 teams to
coordinate external vendor spend categories and determined synergy
savings targets. Developed joint technical specifications, joint
RFP's and negotiated several contracts for the new entity.
Product Manager
Formulated, developed, implemented and managed the overall strategies and
budgets for an $86M consulting service program. Total P&L ownership and
management of budget for 439 associates and 159 contractors. Accountable
for all associated costs and all projections. Eliminated $2 million in
monthly accruals as key member of a Six-Sigma product development team.
Reduced contractor time approval cycle by 20 days. Determined financial
feasibilities of new product developments. Instituted formal product
management program.

picture systems worldwide. Managed a staff of over 50 with an annual

as well as 20 large trade shows. Directed team that developed one of the
first electronic picture systems in the world. Project converted analog
photo transmissions to complete compressed digital images, via satellite.
