. In the role of first scrub, I assisted physicians in various
surgical procedures. Responsible to pick and check for the
availability of sterile supplies before surgery. Main role was to
set up back table accordingly to the scheduled procedure. One of
the major accomplishments during this clinical experience was to be
able to anticipate instrumentation for general and various
specialty cases: OB/GYN, urology, ENT, Vascular, Ortho,
ophthalmology, and other general surgery procedures.

in the Dual Immersion Program. The Dual Immersion Program is
offered by the Long Beach Unified School District; it offers the
opportunity to non-Spanish speaking students to participate in a
Spanish/English curriculum from K-8th.
