logical and physical DB2 table designs for client designed budgeting

The system consisted of several Oracle tables and programmatic interfaces

candidate also directed a conversion from 6.00.01 to 6.01 of the

aforementioned software. This encapsulated designing Batch Execution

Schedules, determining most efficient VSAM File Parameters and establishing

Disaster Recovery Procedures. The system operated in an on-line environment

under CICS and was written in COBOL. In the development of a Property Tax

Reporting System this candidate was solely responsible for the functional

design, program design, data normalization across interfaces and managing

the programming, testing and implementation team. The system implemented

was designed to report the taxing requirements payable to each taxing

jurisdiction which contained a length of fiber optic cable. The system

operated in an on-line environment under CICS and was written in

COBOL/CICS. This candidate also extensively used PC based design aids.

System utilized was an IBM 30XX under OS/MVS.

System. The system operated in an on-line environment under CICS and was

30XX under OS/MVS.
