. Database Specialist, National Association of County and City Health
Officials (NACCHO) - 2007 to 2011 - Duties include:
o Providing data to staff by writing and running queries, both
within netForum itself and on the backend of the database
through SQL-coded queries.
o Using the interface to find and update data, run queries, and
create records.
o Modifying and creating forms, both in the interface itself and
in the public 'eweb' portion, to add or remove fields, to
reformat the design, and/or to change field visibility or other
metadata.
o Modifying and creating wizards in netForum to link forms
together.
o Creating new fields in the database to meet new data collection
needs.
o Assisting in and sometimes managing requirements gathering for
new database development.
o Managing database development projects when that development is
to be done by consultants: informing staff of time and resources
needed, staying in contact with consultants to match progress to
the schedule, testing the beta version of the development to

they are resolved, and especially support to staff after

representative to customers for the online bookstore and making
updates to an individual or organization's listed information.
