To the Human Resource Personnel,
I am applying for the position of Full Time Consumer Electronics
Installation and Set Up Merchandising Representative. I am formerly a
Language Arts and Computer teacher of twenty years before taking a leave
from the school system to complete a book project.
I am the disciplined, detail-oriented, electronics specialist you seek to
install, manage, and support the CE retail displays in your store(s). I am
power-user of technology in my own home and very much enjoy the use of a
variety of consumer electronics.
In my twenty years of teaching, I was not only involved in the classroom
but in running a computer lab. I installed and maintained the school
network, acted as troubleshooter for technology issues in the school, and
trained staff on a variety of programs.
The management of after-school programs, including adult education, as well
as handling a variety of software trainings for staff, required a diverse
range of communication skills. During this time, I also won a two-year
grant for a school newspaper which I edited and helped prepare for
publishing. All of these experiences point to my ability to handle
deadlines and present information in a variety of ways.
I would be eager to discuss how my skills would make me the effective
installation and set up representative you seek for you consumer electronic
displays.
Sincerely,
Barry Batia
