- Coordinating projects for numerous fundraising campaigns; writing
silent auction guides; creating / distributing flyers and newsletters;
conducting temp employee interviews; managing / training temp
employees; managing transportation and coordinating volunteers at
large fundraising events; working with sponsors to meet goals and grow
programs; creating and maintaining extensive fundraising databases;
editing correspondence; processing funds, invoices, and bank deposits
in the accounting system; setting up fundraising websites; designing
press releases and securing publication; and completing diverse
administrative projects as needed.
Results: Annual silent auction event raised over $100,000 from 2008-
2010; I also received the Outstanding Press Award in 2010 for my work
securing media coverage (including television and newspapers) for
approx. 15-20 fundraising events.

Assistant (Jan 2006 - May 2008)
- Tutored and advised graduate and undergraduate (including ESL)
students who required help with academic and research papers, writing
assignments, etc., through strong personal writing skills, with
special attention to organization, structure, grammar, syntax, source
documentation, and the writing process; managed the Writing Center
Outreach Program by organizing, scheduling, and performing classroom
presentations across campus; served as a judge in a nationwide essay
contest.
Results: Students and professors regularly reported improved grades
due to my training; the number of Writing Center patrons increased
significantly due to success of the Outreach Program.

- Copyedited, proofread, wrote chapter annotations, offered editing
suggestions for manuscripts, incorporated changes into documents,
