I manage the Microsoft security department which is mandated by the National Industrial Security

Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)

Senior Manager for the Microsoft Security Facility. Oversees the clearance process for

approximately 450+ contractor and subcontractor employees. Manages the facility’s security

program ensuring that physical access to sensitive areas is based on customer requirement and

strict need to know.

Assisted the FSO for the oversight and accountability of day-to-day security operations to

Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. Ensured all potential affiliates and employees were

provided with any information used in conjunction with the denial/revocation proceedings.

Disseminated personnel security information to authorized and accredited government

agencies/departments and law enforcement entities. Provided pertinent information to include but not

limited to, Reports of Investigation, Polygraph Reports, and Background Investigations, in support of

Conducted counterintelligence investigations in accordance with Director of Central Intelligence Directive

6/4.

Provided Reports Of Investigations that were concise, accurate, relevant and timely.

Developed and maintained liaison relationships with State and Local Law Enforcement.

Maintained strong communications skills in order to elicit adjudicatable information from the interviewees.

Conducted and performed de-certification inspections of all Sensitive Compartmented Information

Facilities (SCIF) and controlled areas throughout BAS, security inspections of all furniture, materials and

equipment leaving sensitive areas.

Conducted indoctrinations and debriefings. Ensured all new personnel and departing personnel were aware

of security requirements and procedures.

Conducted unofficial foreign travel briefings for all geographical areas, with particular emphasis on travel

to high threat areas.

Verified and documented clearance information and scheduled indoctrinations and debriefings.

Transmitted “Arrival,” “Departure,” and “Temporary Duty Station (TDY)” Automated Messages Handling

System (AMHS) messages. Ensured the smooth and orderly transition of TDY and Permanent Change of

Station (PCS) personnel to and from BAS to other TDY/PCS locations.

Verified clearance information by telephonic contact with the appropriate Central Clearance Facility and/or

Arranged for Polygraph Examiners from the 902nd MI BN to conduct polygraph exams for Army, Navy,
