Plant Controller, Evansville, IN (1994 - 2009)
Responsible for financial reporting and IT processes for production
facility with annual sales of over $130 million and inventory of $20
million. Directed a staff of 12. Managed annual budgeting process
consisting of standard product costing, departmental budgets, inventory
goals and forecasting, and capital spending. Coordinated monthly close
process including effective managerial reporting and variance analysis.
Analyzed capital budget and projects to ensure consistency with policy and
achievement of financial results. Assessed, detected, and prevented
material risks associated with internal controls over financial reporting.

. Provided financial analysis for reduction in business footprint which
resulted in closure of three production plants, generating over $15
