•
items along with a digital adjustable thermostat
Utilized LabVIEW for 114 of our 295 project hours to program the project
•
Designed circuits through Pspice for our project in order to ensure correct electrical operation
•
Used a DAQ which acted as the communication device between the computer and either the
•
compressor or the temperature sensors
o The user scans an item which the computer would find nutritional information on and
store it within a database
The user would be able to view current items in the refrigerator or freezer
without visually scanning either compartment
o The item would then be weighed and its initial weight would be placed in the database
When the items weight reached a designated percentage the user would be
informed that the item was almost empty
o The user could also digitally set the desired temperature of either compartment and a
relay would control a circulation fan or compressor to reach the desired temperature
