Johnson Service Group, Inc. (JSG) is among the nation's leading multi-

faceted staffing and technical service companies, specializing in providing

human resource solutions to staffing requirements for our client companies.

As RD, Oversaw and directed the recruiting process within the Power Utility

and Construction division for JSG. Developed recruiting strategies to

ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner. Used

outside recruiting agencies and selected the best sources to advertise job

openings and implementing programs to assist the recruiting process.

Managed recruiting specialists, interviewers and administrative staff for 3

remote locatins : Mobile, Knoxville, and Birmingham. Involved training

employees and setting recruiting goals, as well as implementing guidelines

to ensure recruiting strategies align with the organization's policies and

goals.

Think Resources Inc, a Randstad company

(May 2006 - Dec 2009)

Technical Recruiter

Think Resources is the engineering arm of Randstad, the second largest

staffing organization in the world. Drawing from a database of 2.8 million

and placing positions ranging from drafters and designers, to engineers,

managers, or C-Level professionals, Think is able to fill a variety of

positions in a variety of different

industries

. Worked closely with GE to place contractors on Wind Farm and Turbine

installation projects resulting in a 45% mark-up to the company for 35

contractors ranging from mid-level to high level engineers for a term

at least 9 months to a 2 year billing cycle.

. Sourced and placed Petroleum Engineers from Africa and India for an

international firm in Canada that netted 45% fees to the company.

. Sourced and placed contractors and direct hire personnel for a Jacobs

Engineering project that built the storage tanks used to capture

byproducts from coal fired plants resulting in a substantial impact to

protecting the environment from power plant waste, simultaneously

netting the company 35% mark-up for 10 contractors over a period of 1

year.

. Worked closely with Dashiell and GE to source and place personnel that

would be needed for plant outages during the summer throughout the US.

These outages were needed to ensure plants were operating at an

optimum level to the communities they serviced. Therefore, protecting

the environment from sub-standard power plants, simultaneously netting

the company 25% fees on high level engineers.

. Acted as Lead Recruiter for the GE "Tiger" Team which effectively

sourced and placed Drafters, Designers, Engineers, and PMs.

. Trained several new employees to ensure a quick transition from new

recruiters to becoming profitable recruiters

Regional Telecommunications Services / (Oct 2001 - Jan 2006)

Recognized as one of the leading providers of IP-based and wire line

communications services to metro Atlanta businesses and customers. Works

exclusively with AT&T to ensure LCMs, DLECs, and OSPEs have the proper data

to turn-up and turn-down site services.

(Jan 2004 - Jan 2006) / Technical Support Manager

. Established a team of designers and engineers to travel to remote RT

sites around Atlanta to inventory DLC equipment (including

multiplexers, dsx's, DISCS, Litespan, and ADSL equipment). This saved

Bellsouth (AT&T) millions in operating cost because Technicians were

not going into RT sites "blind", simultaneously netting RTS a

lucrative contract for future projects.

. Worked closed with DLECs and LCMs to establish telephone service to

several wire centers that were damaged during a Tornado event. This

resulted in less time the phone systems were down therefore saving

Bellsouth (AT&T) millions in customer bill repayments

. Established a contact with Chattahoochee Solutions Group, Inc. this

allowed us to rollout a new course for LCMs (Loop Capacity Managers)

with AT&T. This course is still being used today. The purpose was to

cut cost on bringing up to speed new LCMs, simultaneously bringing in

a 55% markup for our contracted

services.

. SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Fast Access Atlanta, AT&T's

profitable high-speed service here in Atlanta and throughout the

country. Worked closely with OSPEs to ensure proper plugs and cards

were ordered for the multitude of different setups that were necessary

for different environments. Fast Access is now a very successful high

speed internet access tool for AT&T.

. Install, or coordinate installation of, new or modified hardware,

software, or programming modules of telecommunications systems.

. Assess existing facilities' needs for new or modified

telecommunications systems.

. Communicate with telecommunications vendors to obtain pricing and

technical specifications for available hardware, software, or

services.

. Consult with users, administrators, and engineers to identify business

and technical requirements for proposed system modifications or

technology purchases.

. Work with personnel and facilities management staff to install,

remove, or relocate user connectivity equipment and devices.

. Document technical specifications and operating standards for

telecommunications equipment.

. Document user support activity, such as system problems, corrective

actions, resolution status, and completed equipment installations.

. Implement controls to provide security for operating systems,

software, and data.

. Established a program that involved building a UNIX Database that

. Cut the time in half, from 6 weeks to 3 weeks, to training effective

Engineers and Designers on complex NGDLCs (Next Generation Digital

Loop Carriers)

All training of new recruits into the company, ensuring that they were

capable of dealing with highly technical and demanding BellSouth job order

requirements. Assisting employees on point to point architecture as well

diverse/non-diverse rings for all SONET Equipment such as placing

multiplexers on existing rings and removing old legacy equipment from

rings.

Tekton Resources/Fluor Daniel Telecom / (Feb 1999 - Oct 2001)

Outside Plant Engineer

. Inspect sites to determine physical configuration, such as device

locations and conduit pathways.

. Instruct in use of voice and data communications systems, such as

voicemail and videoconferencing systems.

. Monitor and analyze system performance, such as network traffic,

security, and capacity.

. Order or maintain inventory of telecommunications equipment, including

telephone sets, headsets, cellular phones, switches, trunks, printed

circuit boards, network routers, and cabling.

. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to prepare or evaluate

network diagrams, floor plans, or site configurations for existing

. Responsible for designing DISCS equipment into a UNIX database

Switches, DISCS (Digital Integrated Subscriber Carrier Systems, ADSL

(providing Fast Access to Internet), DSX panels, and routers.

. Ensured proper copper transmission to fiber transmission at applicable

rates, such as DS1, DS3, OC3, OC12, OC48, OC192 depending on customer

site.

. Routing such transmissions from Central Office to Remote Terminals.

Pivotal in obtaining Bellsouth commercial success with Fast Access by

being the

SPOC on all Digital Subscriber Carrier systems in the metro Atlanta area.

Scientific Atlanta / (Feb 1997 - Jan 1999)

SMT and Gen RAD Engineer

Responsible for designing circuitry in digital set box for Comcast as well

as Bell South. Utilizing diodes, inductors, capacitors, variable capacitors

and resistors to establish a signal that was acceptable by Comcast

Standards to be used for commercial digital boxes. Utilized Gen RAD for

running through-puts for loss and

lossless gain on digital boxes. Calculated loss and gain for each digital

box for commercial use.
