1. Develop, coordinate and integrate reliability and maintenance programs

of PDVSA's 845 MBD complex, annual budget of 180MM$, and a asset

replacement value of 6.000 MM$.

2. Define, design and implement policies and contract strategies for

routine and turnaround maintenance.

3. Define, design safety policies to be implemented through the maintenance

activities of the complex with the help of the Safety Organization.

4. Formulate and control maintenance budgets for both routine and

turnaround activities.

5. Identify, procure and implement new tools and technologies for

maintenance activities.

6. Assure technical assistance in the field of reliability to the PRC

7. Formulate, control and follow up career development programs for almost
