Resume:

September **, ****

To Whom It May Concern:

I was glad to hear that you may be looking for a future position at Delaware North. I am attaching a resume for

your review. I believe that my strong organizational and interpersonal skills, coupled with my three years of

previous work experience in a variety of accounting functions, make me an ideal candidate for this position.

By way of background, I completed a B.S. from Mitchell College in May, 2006 where I majored in business

administration and small business studies. During my undergraduate studies, I took classes in accounting and

business and served as the secretary of the business club. I completed two internships in the hotel industry

where I developed my customer service and administrative skills. Most recently, I have been employed at the

Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts where I have been working as an Accounting Clerk and

Paymaster. During this time, I have assisted with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, such as

the preparation of bills, collection calls, customer service inquires, and bank reconciliations. After a year and a

half, I was promoted to Paymaster where I am responsible for processing and transmitting the payroll of 200

employees using ADP. I have demonstrated attention to detail in the input of payroll data and creation/

maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.

I look forward to speaking with you further about this exciting opportunity and can be reached by email at

Sincerely,

Lauren Berk
