STIMS - YANPET EDDMS is being perceived as an integrated system for

Process Plants over their entire life cycle within SABIC. It is intended to

provide Data and Document management capabilities.

The system is used to control and view plant asset data as well as

engineering and vendor related documents. The system is delivered with a

YANPET defined workflow to provide Management of Change (MOC). The system

The AR-RAZI EDDMS is based on Intergraph's Smartplant Foundation. This

system replaces the existing Bentley's Projectwise system with added

enhancements where the users will be able to query for their data in more

organized way. The system has added advantage over the old system, now the

users can search for the documents from a tag or vice versa. This feature

will help the user in saving time where they can get all the documents

related to specific tag from one place. Also the users can perform content

search on specific details by leveraging the features of Full Text

Retrieval (FTR).

AISC is indexing all the files available in the old system and capturing

the useful information from the title block based on the design on the new

SPF system. Also the tag details are captured wherever it is available in

the title block so as to build relationship to help the users search for

documents faster.
