BSC and BTS part:
Daily health's check up of four Ericsson BSCs(Pathankot, Batala,
Gurdaspur and Sarna BSC for Punjab network Vodafone India). Also
responsible for the operational and maintenance of 4 bscs with
the support of the NOCE.
To change the data in Ericsson RBSC as per the RF REQUIREMENT.
Looking after 325 Cell sites(E/// RBS2964,RBS2954,2111) of 5
BSCs.
PM of network elements to have minimum break downs.
To attend Break downs of cell sites.
To clear all CF/TRX and service affecting alarms within given
time frame. .
To Perform TRX addition as per RF requirement in BSC and BTS.
Network rollout, expansions, carrier additions & removals, sites
I&C and reparenting executions.
To ensure 100% network availability in my zone.
Installation,Commissioning & troubleshooting of BTS (Ericsson
2964, 2954, 2111& 6000) in all respects.
Worked on BSC (Motorola), BTS (Horizon II Macro), PCU,
including installation, commissioning and its O&M
Implementation of expansion in the BSC cabinet (Motorola) and
capacity additions at BTS cell sites (Motorola) so as to cop up
with increased traffic and utilities in the network.
MICROWAVE and TRANSMISSION part:
Commissioning& troubleshooting NEC microwave (PDH and SDH).
Commissioning & troubleshooting of ERICSSON TRAFFIC NODE (2p,
6p,20p), Ericsson PDH, SDH and SPDH.
Implementation of DCN and make all Ericsson network visible on
NMS
Microwave HOP up gradation PDH to SDH (STM1).
ELECTRICAL PART:
Coordinating with an operational team of for handling 24hr
Electrical
(Which includes operations on Battery Bank (Amraraja, HBL,
Coslight),
SMPS (Flat pack Eltek n DELTA PSC1000), PIU (ACME) & DG
(15KVA & 25KVA of Kirloska, Mahindra, Cummins make) and
Power operations of 298 BTS cell sites and 5 BSC sites in the
network.
Acquainted with the power plants (Delta, Emerson, Tyco & Eltek)
used in a Vodafone site.
Complete quality audit of a Vodafone site. It includes the
filling of Document sheets, which reflects the Quality index of a
Vendor.
Sites documentation and processes to reduce cost and work
efficiency.

Involved in I was Responsible for complete swap of 254 sites from Motorola
BSC to Ericsson BSC in Pathankot zone. Activity completed
successfully in 5 days (in 3 Phases)
Planned and arrange to install BSCs at Sarna and Gurdaspur
Planned, installed and commissioned seven Sdh loops and 2 SPDH
loops in zone to increase the bandwith
Upgrade Stm16 to Stm64 on two backbone nodes
Commissioned the Huawei DWDM at 2 nodes with the help of Huawei
engineer
Upgraded first in house GDDM magazine of Ericsson bsc in Vodafone

Maintained 100% network availability of 210 sites for six months.
