EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
1 February 2008 - April 2011 - Sales Lead Chico's FAS Inc - Part-time Sales Lead . Ensure that all company
standards in the areas of sales, customer satisfaction, cash/inventory management, general store operations, loss
prevention, merchandise handling, and store maintenance are met. Competencies include composure, customer focus,
directing others, driving for results, integrity and trust, motivating others, and planning. Communication skills are a must
for this position.
2 August 2001 - June 2006 - Administrative Officer, IRS, Burlington, Vermont . Responsible for coordinating building
security, office space requirements, housekeeping, safety, telephone, and computer systems for 5 IRS offices in Vermont.
Developed our Emergency Incident Management Plan and was proactive in the installation of a new telephone VOIP
system for 2 offices in Vermont. Other duties included E-Filing for our Employee E-File program, and working with
management to determine what were functional or shared duties. Followed up with 5 offices for the annual employee
appreciation events.
3 November 1995 - August 2001 - Tax Auditor, IRS, Burlington, Vermont . Position required the interpretation and
understanding of tax law, IRS issues, procedures and regulations relating to the Internal Revenue Code, disclosure, and
policy statements. Assignment tax cases for which I was responsible from appointment through case closure. Also
assigned collateral duty as Innocent Spouse Coordinator for Vermont.
4 December 1975 - November 1995 - Secretary, IRS, Burlington, Vermont . Last promotion was Secretary to the
District Director. Prior to that I was Criminal Investigation Division Secretary and Secretary to the Chief Examination
Division. Each position required communication and listening skills, along with strong organizational and interpersonal
skills and a knowledge of computer software. During this time I also coordinated the Combined Federal Campaign for
Chittenden County (the only fundraiser allowed on site in Federal offices) working closely with the United Way of
Chittenden County. Also received the Administrative/Clerical Employee of the Year Award in 1992 and the award was
presented by then Representative Bernard Sanders.
