Comcast Cable, Inc. 1994-2010

The nation's largest provider of cable television and internet services and

the third largest land line telephone service company with annual revenues

over $35B, 23.6M customers, and 107K employees. Comcast operates its

cable operations, which represent 95% of revenue, across four operating

divisions containing 20 geographic regions. Predecessor companies acquired

through acquisition include AT&T Broadband, MediaOne, and Continental

Cable.

Vice President of Finance, Chicago Region, Schaumburg, IL (2009-2010)

Comcast's third largest operating region with fiscal revenue of $3B, a

customer base of 2.2M, and 7K regional employees.

. Responsible for all regional finance and accounting functions,

facilities, security, and supply chain management. Managed a staff

350 employees.

. Developed and executed a plan to consolidate five autonomous area

management structures to four and centralized all back office

functions, resulting in a 10% reduction in regional staff and $40M in

annual savings.

Senior Vice President of Finance, North Central Division, Manchester, NH

(2005-2009)

One of Comcast's four operating divisions with fiscal revenue of $9B, a

customer base of 6.5M, and a workforce of 22K employees. Division managed

five regions covering geographic areas in New England and the Mid-West.

. Responsibilities included all finance and administrative activities.

Directly managed a staff of 160 employees. Indirectly managed

finance functions across five operating regions.

. Played lead role in the integration of the defunct Midwest Division,

including the consolidation of all accounting functions from a

regional model to a divisional centralized model, resulting in

annualized savings across all functions of $20M.

. Designed and created divisional accounting and finance organization to

support the newly formed division, hiring 50 newly created positions

across internal audit, general ledger, and regulatory / tax functions.

. Designed and implemented a work order quality control and operation

reporting process, decreasing error rates from 10 to 5%, resulting in

improved revenue realization and decreased operational cost

activities.

. Utilizing customer life cycle trending and analysis, developed a stair

step customer discounting strategy, improving tenure by over 100% in

year one, enabling the business to continue to meet customer growth

projections.

. Played lead role in defining internet self service strategy, including

installation pricing model and order flows, saving the division $20M

. Acted as Divisional Finance Sponsor of SAP payroll system

Vice President of Finance, New England Region, Manchester, NH (2000-2005)

During this time period, the NE Region was Comcast's largest operating

region with annual revenue of $2.5B, a customer base of 2.1M, 5.5K

employees, and best in class operating margins.

. Responsible for all regional finance, reporting, accounting,

collections, facilities, security, and supply chain management

activities. Managed a staff of 250 employees.

. Managed through complex decentralization effort following the

acquisition of AT&T Broadband by Comcast Cable, repurposing resources

into a model with more local control and closer customer interaction,

resulting in improved transactional quality and a trend change to

positive customer growth rates.

. Transitioned general ledger and regulatory accounting functions into a

centralized divisional structure, resulting in local down sizing of 25

personnel.

. Held lead finance role in the development of local three product offer

strategy, including the implementation of a $99 bundle with related

product set and eligibility requirements. Product construct was the

base offering utilized to grow revenues over 15% for three consecutive

years.

. Improved operating cash flow margins by 10ppt over three years,

focusing on pricing and packaging, as well as driving cost

efficiencies within the internet and phone businesses.

. Integrated acquisitions totaling 250K customers and 500 employees.

Director -Financial Planning and Analysis, New England Region, Andover, MA

(1996-2000)

. Directed regional financial planning process, including annual

operating budget, quarterly forecasting requirements and monthly

analysis and reporting process. Managed a staff of seven.

. Leadership role in the conversion to PeopleSoft financial system,

improving internal controls, enabling consistency in business
