Four years developing and supporting corporate wide implementations of JBA
Financial Software. Developed endless FTP interfaces for importing,
validating and consolidating financials to corporate ledger.
Responsibilities include supporting daily help desk issues, developing
interfaces for new plant and software implementations. Environment included
multiple divisional AS400's, each having dozens of plants with their own
flavor of AS/400, JBA and/or supporting applications software.
CMS Applications Experience 2002-2007
Five years exclusively developing and supporting custom CMS software based
applications. Taken responsibility for over a dozen CMS based clients
gaining knowledge and understanding of CMS core applications and software
policies and controls.
Data Take-on and Conversions.
Involved in several conversion projects helping clients migrate to CMS
software. Uploaded and imported raw data parsing ASCII and comma separated
variable files. Resourced FTP and ISeries Distribution services, uploaded,
parsed, massaged, and validated incoming data.

Consolidated part/item inventory to single stockroom/part assignment based
on stock policies and CMS setup. Generated CMS inventory issue and receipt
transactions providing history for re-assigned stock.
Reports, Overlays, and Email Utilities
Modified report layouts for CMS Standard reports, custom overlays and forms
printing. Touching on all applications created an array of useful reports
and utilities. Custom reports offer email/fax options. Parsed and created
ASCII, .CSV and .PDF files.
Created FTP and Polling routines to intercepting EDI files. Uploaded,
massaged and validated against CMS setup files. Pre-validated and
downloaded for input to Trusted Link EDI software.
RF Solutions
Created and modifying countless inventory utilities for hand held and
vehicle mounted RF devices. Solutions supported scanning 2D labels and
subfile processing.
KanBan Picking Utility
Created hand held RF utility allowing scanned input of KanBan parts and
required pick quantities. Subfile display presented all locations available
allowing inventory picks from multiple locations. Completed picks initiated
transfers to user designated shopfloor stockroom for consumption. Pick
violations notified supervisors via program generated emails.
Building and Transfer of Mixed Load Labels
Streamlined existing RF utilities for building mixed load labels. Created
and built mixed loads keying PORCH for unique receiving log and Pallet ID.
Provided separate utility to transfer mixed load labels automating manual
break down of inventory items.

Label Creation and Printing
Accessed CMS controls to yield next available inventory tracking number.
Routines created labels updating variable length fields for printing user
defined label data. Created and printed non-serial labels recycling label
formats through reserved blocks of tracking numbers.
Created mixed load label routines that built, printed, and performed
stockroom transfers. Automated manual breakdown and re-building of labels
streamlining stockroom transfers.
Event Code Production Reporting
Streamlined existing routines to minimize user required input.
Modifications included automation of shift in/out procedures, defaulting
event codes and creating supporting subfile pop-ups. Existing applications
screens were re-designed to run on MPX devices.
Custom Add-on Applications
Production Reporting
Create production reporting applications collecting end of line production
scanning 2D labels. Keying and validating work orders and job setup in CMS.
Automating interface importing PC document files meeting GL reporting
requirements for production and labor.
CMS - Physical Inventory
Developed complete physical inventory control sub-system. Complete with tag
control and tag count sheets. Part quantities for selected stockrooms are
collected, reported and counted. Calculated net differences are used to
create +/- issue transactions to reflect counted quantities. Reporting
offered multiple views of quantity and cost variances.
