Present
Wounded Warrior Program
• Became a member of the Wounded Warrior Program after having back surgery for spinal
injuries.
• While a member of the program received secondary surgery on the same back injury
because of complications from the original injury.
• Received shoulder replacement surgery on shoulder injury of the humerus.
• Due to be released from the program in June, 2011.

CAMP SHELBY MOBILITY CENTER, Camp Shelby, MS 2007 -
2009
Soldier Mobilization Center preparing hundreds of thousands of soldiers for war
• Embraced the installation's Equal Opportunity Program, while it was in its' infancy, and
propelled it to great heights by creating an Equal Opportunity Representative
Certification Course (EORC).
• Trained and certified 30 Equal Opportunity Representatives for the EORC course to assist
in executing the Equal Opportunity Program Plan.
• Monitored the installation's Equal Opportunity Climate by serving as an agent for cultural
change and acting as the 'eyes and ears' of the Installation Commander.
• Maintained EO assistance lines to provide advice and information on unlawful
discrimination and sexual harassment to Installation Commander.
• Complied unit data and received periodic briefings on the analysis of that data to assist in
development of EO action plans.
• Briefed over 10,000 deploying Soldiers on prevention of sexual harassment while
conducting installation training.
• Established a working relationship with Youth Challenge Program, a quasi-military
course designed to provide educational opportunities for high school dropouts.
• Managed the Ethnic Observance Committee and successfully brought various programs
into the installation to observe several nationally recognized ethnic holidays.

Finance Soldier Readiness Processing Center
• Instrumental in establishing the finance expertise required to enable the processing of
approximately 300 soldiers per day through military pay section.
• Planned, organized, and developed techniques establishing internal controls to manage
financial services and analysis operations, receiving rave reviews and compliments from
Soldiers.
• Determined organizational structure, personnel, training needs, and security requirements
for safeguarding assets.
• Established performance standards, work schedules, and priorities for Finance site.
• Developed, reviewed coordinated and executed financial management plans to support
peacetime, exercise, contingency, and wartime operations.

• During the height of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom, performed the specialized
duties of Casualty Assistance Officer supporting the bereaved family members.

• Supported five families during this tenure and stayed in constant contact to ensure

USPFO functions pertaining to Military and Civilian pay, commercial accounts, and
