Summer Internship BOSCH Ltd. JUNE-AUG (2012)
Studied various process involved in manufacturing of plunger and barrel and their assembly element.
Collected and updated SAP records of plant, assisting in transferring assets from one station to other.
Checking necessity of plunger top-face grinding process through work trials of 130 plungers.
Analyzed barrel pre honing process and outer diameter surface grinding by process capability analysis using Q-stat software.

Observed working of steel melting shop, coke ovens, water treatment plant, sintering plant, continuous casting shop.
Performed various types of tests conducted to analyze quality of steel.

Implemented P-Median Heuristic for Solving Group Technology Problem.
Implemented teacher learning based optimization method for solving group technology problem.
Compared both the methods using industrial examples and basic flow diagrams of machines.

Comparison of robust design method
Methods used were traditional Taguchi’s Orthogonal Array Method and Response Surface Method with the help of steepest
accent and factorial design.
Comparison were performed using Temperature Control Circuit as objective problem.
CASE-STUDIES
Design and analysis of hybrid Meta heuristics for solving P-median Problem, presented on case study completion conducted at
comet 2013.
