GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

Since 1978 have achieved a working knowledge in all aspects of HARD SURFACES INSTALLATION

that include Ceramics, Porcelain, Custom Mosaics, Stone, Marble, Onyx, Glass Block, VCT, LVT, Wood,

and Carpet Tiles for both Interior and Exterior Commercial and Residential Projects,

Worked in the family business, Tile World Inc. with store locations in Revere, Somerville, and Peabody

Massachusetts. Was an apprentice Installer and worked with my Father. Later I became a Lead Installer,

1979-1980 . Then after, I became Assistant Manager/Installer in the Peabody, MA. showroom.

After 1 year, I became the Showroom Manager. Duties included contacting Vendors, Showroom

Merchandising and Display and the hiring of both Sales Staff and Installers, and the overseeing of all

Installations.

Other duties consisted of Sales and Marketing necessary in seeking out, and establishing Commercial and

Residential Accounts.

ROLE

• Oversee, manage, and Document all day-to-day job site activities including OSHA Safety compliance.

• Direct contact with field personnel in accordance with project plans.

• Communicate issues, events, performance, and daily progress to the Operations Manager.

• Report problems promptly to the Operations Manager to facilitate the most cost effective solutions.

• Establish effective working relationships with clients.

• Work together with General Contractor(s) Superintendents on all matters.

SCHEDULING

• Formulate and implement Field Project Schedules.

• Maintain Project Schedules to ensure that work performed is consistent with Client Contract(s), and meet

or exceed Client expectations.

• Update Project Schedules monthly.

PROJECT SITE MANAGEMENT

• Pre-site survey, job site utilization and staging plans.

• Maintain job site(s) per contract(s).

• Manage subcontractors performance to quality and ethical standards.

• Work with operations Manager to identify, and resolve personnel issues, and installation process

revisions.

• Manage all phases of the installation process including documenting, and reporting site activities, and

progress.

MANAGEMENT MEETINGS

• Attend project turnover, mobilization, and project coordination meetings.

• Attend Safety pre-installation meetings.

• Attend weekly/bi-weekly Safety subcontractor meetings.

• Attend monthly review meetings.

• Attend subcontractor meetings necessary to manage projects.

SAFTEY

• Insure that subcontractors participate in a Safety pre-Installation meeting prior to starting work on the

project.

• Insure that all subcontractors have a full set of MSD sheets on the project, as well as their site specific

Safety plan, and current certificate(s) or enrollment ID.

• Review projects daily to insure that all activities are being performed in accordance with OSHA

requirements, and project(s), Safety plans.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

• Insure that all pertinent Benchmarks are approved, documented, and communicated to the Operations

Manager.
