Reporting to Chief Technical Officer and responsible for the handover and technical development of a mmWave radio link.
• Analyzed handover technology enabling shared knowledge amongst engineering teams.
• Successful verification of mmWave chip and module, that guaranteed continuous supply for
radio production.
• Evaluation of vendor chipsets and subsequent recommendations to meet product system
performance.
Sequans Communications Ltd, Reading UK Senior RFIC Support Engineer 2010 – 2011
Responsible for RF engineering support of WiMax and LTE radio systems-on-a-chip for wireless
communications.
• Validation of system performance and chip characterization.

• System analysis of the receiver and transmitter and designing of VNA (3MHz - 3GHz) and
Wide band amplifier circuitry.
• Responsible for customer presentations and defining company product strategy.
Nokia UK Ltd 2007 – 2009
• Key contributor in the design of the next generation handset, which operated in all GSM and
WCDMA bands. Functionality included WLAN, FM radio, GPS and Bluetooth. Specific layout
modifications prevented critical release issues and lead to the success of 2 major high
volume production mobile phones.
• Performed testing of all radio parameters (incl. non complimentary wireless) in accordance to
required specifications.

• Broad-based training in amenity and botanical horticulture.
• Recipient of British friends of Jerusalem Botanical Gardens Scholarship.
Filtronics Broadband Ltd Newton Aycliffe UK RF Development Engineer 2003 – 2003
• Conducted a detailed analysis of a Point – To – Point transceiver operating in the 6 -36GHz
frequency range, the analysis highlighted where transceiver block level performance needed
to be improved.
• Produced detailed report of the theoretical analysis and practical results of a Point – To –
Point transceiver design and provided recommendations for future development.

• Successfully lead an RF team in producing a number of radios including a GPRS GSM (I)
mode phone. These radios were delivered on time, in budget and to specification.
