OBJECTIVES
My goal is to obtain employment in the Aviation Manufacturing
Quality Systems field. I plan to grow into a Quality Engineer. Finding a
quality stable company that I can grow with is imperative.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* I have acquired excellent communications skills including
interpersonal and decision making due to various education
opportunities, as well as previous employment responsibilities.
* My skills also include multi-tasking, problem-solving, planning and
meeting deadlines. I am self-motivated and do well working alone or in
groups.
* Proficient using all measurement gauges including micrometers,
calipers, height gages, go/no-go gauges, and radius gauges in a
quality controlled setting.
* I certified as an FAA Repairman with limited Airframe and Power plant
capabilities for Unison Industries, GE. I performed quality
evaluations and inspections to approve airworthiness and final release
on airframe components. I am very knowledgeable in the use of the FAA
repair manuals used in the quality evaluation and inspection, as they
were a part of my day to day job function. I am currently pursuing
Operation Technologies with an Engineering Option at Sinclair
Community College.
* Product Integrity Specialist Level II, Quality inspector including
First Article Release and review for new make and component repair
parts and materials. NDT experience in Industrial Radiography and
Hydro/Pneumatic Pressure Testing. CWI certified for Unison Industries,
GE.
* Basic Green Belt Training, along with Lean and Six Sigma Practices.
Knowledge of ISO9001 standards and NADCAP auditing prep.
* Shipping and receiving, receiving inspection including Controlled
Chemical Materials, Chemical Clean Room.
* I am experienced in operating tools and machinery such as Drill press,
belt sander, spot welding, CMO tube bender, Plastic Mold Injection
machines, trim work hand tools for Plastic, Rubber, and Metal
materials. Heavy press operator, hand finishing tools, and sand blast
tanks. Also experienced in applying Liquid Braze Alloy and Stop Off,
including material prep for furnace and heat treat.
* Vacuum plating thickness and surface finish measurements, including
Radial cutting wheel (Philtec) for plating thickness, Profilometer for
surface finish testing, Calot ball cutter for plating thickness, In my
current position I have to 100% check, document, and give certified
approval to incoming and outgoing aviation components. I have to stay
current with customer guidelines and specifications as well as FAA and
commercial regulations.
