. Components Design Engineer (Mar '11-till date)
. Design, develop, and analyze test data of engine subsystem
components such as air system, fuel system, lubrication system,
and cooling system using Pro/E from concept to final production
to meet EPA regulations
. Perform supplier collaboration and implement cost reduction
projects to improve quality issues using Six Sigma principles
per Advanced Product Quality Planning guidelines.
. Conducted Design Reviews with the product groups to determine
the prime path for NPI and worked with tight timelines to
complete the action items.

Six Sigma principles
. Analyze various Failure modes (FMEA) and its impact on the
engine performance for various applications and develop risk
mitigation test plans to reduce these failures.

(NPI), assembly line and field failure issues for mid range and
heavy duty engines.
. Designed a concept model for Oil Jet Cooling system for heavy
duty applications.

. Proficient in routing engine lube and cooling system components
using Fluid lines in Pro/Wildfire 4.0
. Worked with Caterpillar tools including Team Center, DCC, HVC,
