PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
January 2012 – November 2012
Mount Olive Pickles
My main responsibility was developing enterprise web applications using mostly Microsoft development tools. T hese
development tools included Visual Studio 2010, ASP.NET, CSS, C#, IIS 7.0, JavaScript, JQuery, and SQL Server
2005/2008. Enterprise applications that I developed include a Sales Planning system that allowed sales personnel to
complete sale plans which were use d to create sales projections for a specific fiscal quarter and designate promotional
funds for the quarter. Also, I developed an application that cleared promotional offers once submitted by customers. I was
the lead developer on all aspects of the development process including defining application requirements, designing the
data structure, creating the project plan, designing application components, and the design of the user interface.
September 2011 to December 2011
PPD, Inc. (Contract)
I designed a SharePoint 2010 application to display images that are related to medical studies for external company users
to have access to images. I developed the SharePoint application using .NET Framework technologies such as C#.NET,
SharePoint .NET libraries, Ajax, DHTML, XML, JavaScript CSS, Oracle EDW, and Oracle SQL Developer. Also, I
developed the design of the application architecture and layout using CSS standards, developed the prototype of the
application in ASP.NET connecting to an Oracle data base, implemented the application and deployed the application as
an ASP.NET Webpart. Another requirement of the application that I implemented was the ability to use Oracle OVD to
determine image access by evaluating the user’s Oracle OVD groups. Create separate login page using Form Based
Authentication.
May 2011 to August 2011
A Wireless, Inc.
I designed and developed web-based applications using Microsoft SharePoint technologies. My responsibilities included
determining application requirements, designing and documenting application architecture, defining the project schedule,
coding and application testing, administrative and user documentation, and user training. Some of the technologies I used
for the development of applications include Microsoft C#.NET, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft
SharePoint. Projects included a SharePoint document management system that required a customized document
workflow approval process using SharePoint .NET libraries and C#.NET.
September 2010 to May 2011
East Carolina University
I designed and coded a website structure for the CITC (Construction in the Twenty-First Century) academic conference
for the Department of Construction Management using technologies such as HTML, DHTML, PHP, javascript, JQuery and
Cascading Style Sheets. My activities included working with the department chair to organize the layout of the standard
template for the web pages to be created, developing the standard styles for the web pages, and creating and coding the
information for each page.
May 2010 to Present
AddLand DS
I design and implement business websites for my clients using various technologies such as HTML, DHTML, javascript,
Microsoft ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint Server, AJAX, PHP and CSS. I use various types of
technologies and methods to create interactive web-based solutions for a variety of commercial clients. Responsibilities
included determining and documenting client requirements, designing and documenting application architecture, codi ng
and application testing, and user documentation and training. My most recent application for a client was a website that
offered information on a retired military personnel organization reunion and a system for accepting online event
registration, and the administration of that information. This included the creation of SQL Reports using ASP.NET,
ADO.NET and C#, and the ability of reunion administrators to modify registration information such as fees received by the
reunion administration team. I designed and coded a website for another client who is a non-profit organization. For this
client, I designed and documented the initial website, developed the initial web page design and template, coded the web
pages, and published the website to an online web-based system that will allow for the client to update organizational
content themselves. Also, I perform all of the server functionality required to host my company’s technology solutions
including the installation, configuration, and administration of all application servers. Server technology that my company
uses include Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, SUSE Linux
Server, and Oracle MySQL.
September 1994 to January 2010
City of Greenville, NC
I designed and developed Windows, web-based and SharePoint applications. Responsibilities included determining
application requirements, designing and documenting application architecture, coding and application testing, user and

applications using the AGILE SDLC application development pr ocess which included defining application requirements,
software design, coding, and unit testing. Some of the projects that I worked on included the initial design and
implementation of an organizational intranet using SharePoint MOSS 2007. During this pr oject I was responsible for
developing the initial design structure, scheduling team meetings to discuss implementation issues, development, and
completing application documentation for application administrations and users. During this project, I also dev eloped and
taught a SharePoint class to acclimate City employees in using the new SharePoint intranet. Another project team that I
