June 2012 - Dec 2012

Designing sheet metal products, extrusions, injection molding and

CNC parts using Solidworks 2011. Quick-turn prototyping skills,

fast-track product development cycle. Implementing engineering

review processes, managing revision. Experienced with BOM creation

and management, using Arena software. Mechanical design for the

development of lightning equipment and luminaire.

Mechanical Application Engineer, SEW Eurodrive

July 2006 - July 2011

Assist SEW sales engineers and customers with application expertise

by phone or through visits to customers. Assist inside sales on

review of requests for quotes and orders for nonstandard product

assemblies/modifications to ensure product is technically

acceptable and has a low risk of failure. Assure technical

compliance by reviewing drive specifications and job requirements

as supplied by customers. Handle complaints of defective

material/workmanship per RGA and warranty policies. Evaluate

returned units for cause of failure or nonconformance, document

inspections/complaints, generate reports and administrate warranty

claims. Use computer and typical computer software including word

processing, database, spreadsheet, AutoCAD, and Solid Works to

generate sketches/assembly for part modifications. Develop wiring

diagrams, layout drawings and engineering specifications per
