Ensure plant OSHA, TOSHA, NFPA, and UTC compliance, accident investigations, Root Cause Analysis, and reporting/recordkeeping. Assist with planning, establishing, implementing and maintaining a variety of occupational health and safety training program to ensure the highest possible level of safety for both employees and contractors.

Designed and conducted a successful 5S program in the production plant to improve occupational health and safety, ergonomics and efficiency. Conduct indoor air quality and noise evaluations, and develop cost effective controls. Implemented hazardous materials monitoring program and designed effective respiratory protection program. Upgrade

fire and emergency response plan. Design new Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) system for all plant machines, cranes, andoverhead doors using Lockout PRO 3.0 software. Upgrade machine guarding and fall protection programs. Conduct monthly EHS audits, prepare reports, present findings to plant management staff and provide effective recommendations. Assist managers to perform incident/accident investigations, reports, prepare safety short and near

Performed an on-site safety audit in the machine shop to recognize and evaluate potential fire hazards and provided recommendations. Also, I presented project findings to UTAS management team to promote safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and NFPA standards and regulations.

Prepared and produced an Environmental, Health and Safety video to effectively train all UTAS Company’s visitors and contractors about essential UTAS environmental and safety regulations, standards, and procedures.

Improve Bread Line Yield project September 2011 – December 2011

Rich’s Production Corporation-Murfreesboro, TN

Designed and implemented a new modification for Rich’s bread dividing machine to improve its productivity using Lean and Six Sigma methodology and tools. This modification reduced out of limits production to 73%. Also, I provided recommendations for future developments in order to further improve the productivity.
