In that time I have worked on a wide variety of equipment in an assorted
atmosphere. I have worked in food processing plants, trash burning plants,
chemical plants, paper mills, breweries, power plants, and a Bose
electronics manufacturer. In power generation, I have experience in
conventional, supercritical, simple cycle, combined cycle and co-gen (or
CHP), boiler plant or plant process industries. I have mechanical start-
up/commissioning experience with the following combustion turbines Alstom-
Stal GTX-100, GE LM 2500, GE/Alstom Frame 5N, and Frame 6B, Siemens-
Westinghouse (501D5A, 501FD2), and Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit and
Wartsila diesel-gen sets with plant power production ratings ranging from
20 mw to over 1000 mw simple cycle as well as combined cycle. I also have
maintained/ and or commissioned boilers and HSRG's to include; ABB-CE,
Babcock & Wilcox, Babcock-Hitachi, Supercritical, Doosan, Foster
Wheeler/Detroit, and superheated and supercritical steam cycles. I also
have an expansive knowledge of Steam Turbine Generators including, but not
limited to ABB, Dresser-Rand, GE, Hitachi, Ingersoll- Rand, Siemens,
Toshiba, Elliott and Westinghouse. I have some operating experience with GE
Mark V & VI, and Siemens-Westinghouse. My positions held, and management
skills include personnel supervision (both union and nonunion), training
and management for all phases of plant construction, commissioning,
startup, and maintenance. I am a fully qualified individual capable of all
of the previous mentioned, and bringing any job along from the breaking
ground to start-up to steady state. My years of expertise are in fossil as
well as nuclear. I have planned, executed, and managed projects ranging
from $3M to $300M (part of a 2.6B job).

job walk downs to inspect for interferences and possible issues, as well as
to insure that all components were included in our proposal to the client.
I was also on site for the first few days of the outage to make sure there
was a smooth transition between the superintendent and plant contact. I
initiated contact with new customers to generate more proposals, and I
participated in contract negotiations as well. I developed the steam
turbine tool list that Wood Group uses now in their A-frame tool set.

Project Manager Turbine Deck
In my position as project manager I was in charge of the overhaul of the
1100 megawatts turbine generator. I provided technical direction and
managed the onsite personnel, crews, and crafts involved. During the
overhaul we rolled out number 1 and number 2 bearings, we observed that the
babbitt was whipped out, as a result we had them rebabbitted. We also
rolled out the upper and lower oil seals and uncoupled the hp and lp rotor.
We repaired and installed the bearings. Then a coupling alignment was
done. Everything was in check so we reassembled. I helped with the project
scheduling, cost and quality control. I conducted meetings with the craft

Senior Mechanical Engineer
In my position as senior mechanical engineer I was in charge of the
building, from the ground to completion, of all rotating equipment. I
provided technical direction and managed the onsite technical direction of
all personnel, crews, and crafts involved. This project required the new
installation of Howden ID, FD, and PA fans, as well as the new installation
of a Hitachi America 750MW steam turbine and generator. There was also the
installation of various conveyors, pulverizer motors, slurry pumps, sump
pumps, vacuum blowers, and an assortment of other equipment. I performed
project scheduling, cost, and quality control. I conducted meetings with
Howden and Hitachi to resolve technical issues. I provided guidelines to
ensure vendor compliance with plant specifications in conjunction with
project scheduling to define critical path, and schedule ties for the
schedule to be maintained.
Day-Zimmerman Westar Energy Topeka, Kansas 3/08 to 6/08
Project Superintendent
Daily oversight of all crafts on the job, as well as the running of the job
itself. This was an upgrade on a supercritical boiler. We replaced the
burners and 30% of the tubes. My oversight included subcontractors
replacing the precipitator, and rebuilding the turbine. I was also
responsible for manpower, loading schedules, vendor installation, test
scheduling, and the generation of start-up progress reports. My work on
this project included construction completion, precommissioning, and
expediting of the turn-over packages. I supervised the blow downs of all
steam lines and first fire of the boiler.
Shaw Group Oyster Creek Nuclear Forked River, New Jersey 10/07 to 12/07

alignment. We worked on Sulzer pumps, Byron Jackson, Sulzer Bingham pumps,
Weir single and two stage, and multi stage pumps. We removed the motors and
sent them off for testing, and then we dissembled the pumps to replace the
seals and bearings. We then reassembled the pumps, installed the motors,
and realigned the pump shaft to the motor shaft.

and installing the CRDM nozzles under a BWR reactor head at Three Mile
Island nuclear plant in Pennsylvania. Also supervised the head change out
at Davis-Bessie nuclear plant in Ohio. My duties included supervision of
union craft, tracking of man hours, and I lent an active input into the
scheduling of all activities involving the head change out. Along with
these two jobs I supervised multiple machining and welding jobs throughout
the Unites States including steam generator replacements, valve machining,
upper and lower control valve seat removal and line boring machining of
steam turbine shells. Turbine stud removals also.

Caterpillar-Cummins diesel generator sets with plant power ratings of 5mw
to 1000mw (simple and combined cycle).
QCI (multiple jobs) 98 To 90
Journeyman to Turbine Mechanic
I worked on a new installation of a GE 550MW turbine commissioning to start-
up and turn over, including turnover of documents. While on this job I was
a turbine millwright. I worked on control valves, blue checked bearings,
and tight wire alignments, together with tops on tops off alignments. I
