CAREER OBJECTIVE
A position in a Test Engineering environment that will utilize my skills in
the field of design and assembly of computer controlled testing equipment
as well as automation and control systems.
BACKGROUND SUMMARY
Began as a Certified Mechanic, doing engine teardowns in a dynamometer lab.
Became supervisor over six associates. Studied electronics technology at
the Junior College while working and moved into the Electronics division.
Built and installed dynamometer control systems for automotive, aircraft,
and small engine applications. Went on to build and operate test systems
for military electronics. Became a test and validation engineer for an
automotive supplier, building computer controlled electronic module test
systems. Have been involved with all aspects of the projects, from
specifications, budgeting projects, ordering equipment, and building
systems.

Dynamometer Technician
Contract engine test facility. Installed and dyno tested automotive
engines for various manufacturers.
LEAR CORPORATION, Southfield, MI 1989-2006

Tier One supplier for automotive electronics and interiors.
Test Engineer
2002-2006
Developed test plans for the electronic products. Design Test Systems to
test the product according to the manufactures specifications. Ordered
the equipment needed from multiple vendors and assembled the systems.
Group Leader
1996-2002
Supervised the technicians in the laboratory. Provided training when
necessary and made work assignments to complete the jobs. Performed
maintenance on the systems. I upgraded approximately 50 of the
department computers saving the company over $1000 per system.
Senior Technician
1989-1996
Started the department using standard Microsoft computers to perform
testing. We also began to use standard plug in IO cards for data
acquisition and control.
