Description:

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney is a leading wealth management business group serving millions of customers. This

particular project is to convert the Smith Barney customer data to Morgan Stanley data . With the merger of Morgan

Stanley with Smith Barney, there was a need to integrate and optimize the systems of Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney.

PDP (Pension Disclosure Project) was started in 2010 to unify the two legacy systems and to be operated as Morgan

Stanley Smith Barney (MSSB) after the shutdown of LMS and LSB. PDP includes data integration, report generation and

also performance tuning of the existing systems.

Responsibilities:

● Understanding the requirements and project functionalities for preparing change description and new requirement

documents.

● Prepared HLD and LLD for all functional requirements.

● Coded new programs and also did performance tuning to existing code.

● Created detailed test cases and test data for the new changes made and unit tested them.

● Documented the test results and checked if they match with the expected results.

● Used FILEAID to create copy and extract data from production environment into test environments.

● Worked on ENDEVOR

● Worked in CHANGEMAN, created package, checked out, staged and promoted the components,

Description:

401(k) is a retirement plan project where employees can choose to defer some of their salary. Instead of receiving that

amount in their paycheck, the employee defers, or delays, getting that money. In this case, their deferred money is going

into a 401(k) plan sponsored by their employer. This deferred money generally is not taxed until it is distributed. It also

calculates commission for financial advisors.

Responsibilities:

● Analyzing business requirements and transforming the requirements to functional design specifications.

● Coded the new requirements and unit tested them.

● Querying data from database using QMF, SPUFI and creating best test case scenarios covering all aspects of

requirements.

● Coordinated with team members in reviewing code and test cases created by them and given feedback.

● Checking the Quality standards of various aspects of the project in accordance with the company and client

Quality guidelines.

● Participated in project discussions and weekly status meetings of the project proceedings with the onsite team.
