Qualifications and skills:

Safety, burr bench, simplex, duplex, and vertical mills. Experienced

on radial and multiple drills. Fly cut machine, XLO horizontal boring

machine. Also ran an engine lathe (era 1950)

Assembly and test of Hyd. Pumps and motors and transmission valve

bodies.

NC Machining center . CNC machining center and CNC lathe. I did

not do any programming for the CNC but worked with the programmer and

made edits to the program and on the machine to be changed at a later

time

10 yrs welding on tanks and filters using Mig, .032 wire. All

parts were air tested. Large welds on the blades with CO2 dual shield.

Both wire feed.

until retirement.

Laid off from Caterpillar in 1982 and again in 1987.

Accepted recall both times.

Responsible at all time for quality of my own work,

reading blueprints and checking with hand

gauges. calipers, micrometers, go-nogo gauges and dial

bores, dial depth and micrometer depth. Reading and making move from CMM

cordax. Also did my own trucking with sit down fork truck, stand up,

work saver or pallet truck, whatever was available.

I took the summer off to travel

with my wife.
