• Primary responsibilities include secondary support for issues reported by customers via

h elp desk. Resolve issues that could not be handled by primary support personnel.

I dentify and report root cause of issues within programs.

• Modify programs to correct issues where root causes have been identified.

2006-2013

Contec, Schenectady, NY

Contec repairs and refurbishes cable TV set top boxes and cable modems.

• Enhanced and maintained in-house applications including Parts Entry and Sales

R eporting.

• Worked on programs that used the IFS to produce reports on the iSeries, convert to

r equired format such as .csv and transmit via e-mail to customers.

• Utilized a package which produces Excel spreadsheets within RPG programs. This

• Developed an automated process to build files, members and data for new facilities.

• Developed a process where users could identify truck routes and stores assigned to those

r outes. A cutoff time could be set up for each route so that shipping personnel would

k now that no more orders could be processed for stores within the route so that orders

a lready processed can be packaged, loaded on trucks and shipped.
