Picks and verifies orders and prepares items for production. Ensures quality and quantities match, picking
documents through careful audit of documents.
Pulling orders according to the pick slip, and verify that all accessories are pulled to properly go with the
product being sold. This includes cables, drivers, etc.
When pulling orders, ensure that all items are complete and in saleable condition.
Compares information and counts incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of
lading, invoices, and orders. Assists in resolving any discrepancies.
Affixes shipping labels, identifying shipping information on cartons.
Assemble packaging materials and packages merchandise per instructions, in preparation for shipment.
Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
Confirms physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages.
Enter data pertaining to orders into the company’s inventory system.
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by
strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
Will operate forklift machine to move shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work
area.
