Cad Library Engineer,
Responsibilities include Designing of Multilayered and Hi-Density Printed
Circuit Board using the state of the art Pro-E, Solidworks (Circuitworks),
AutoCAD & Cadence PCB Design Tools Allegro.
Details include:
< Chassis design (Sheet metal OR Plastic) with complete mechanical
analysis and dies development with 3D models.
< Sketching of board outline with respect to chassis constraints and load
calculations to protect the board.
< Developing the Library of Foot prints (Lands Patterns) of Electronic
components such as SOICs, SOJs, SOTs, PLCCs, BGAs, PGAs and Chip
Components etc from input provided from the customer in the form of
Manufacturer's Data Sheets. Then all the lands are loaded into a board
file with the help of netlist provided.
< Secondly Placements of Electronic components into the Board Layout
according to the Mechanical constraints.
< Finally board level 3D modeling of final board file. All these steps are
done using the state of art Pro-Engineering, AutoCAD, Cadence PCB Design
Tools Allegro, ORCAD, and Acrobat. Exchange for clients like Sony,
Samsung, Mediamatics, TerraLogic, Cisco, Xilinx, Zultys, Nokia, Marvell,
Foundry, Brocade, Apple, NetApp and Cyan...etc.
