WORK EXPERIENCE
1- MAPSA Co. Tehran
Design Engineer, (Oct. 2006- Jan. 2009)
• Modified the design of existing process pump to meet the required specification in accordance with API610 in “Tehran Oil Refinery” and “Abadan Oil Refinery” projects. Analyzed the dynamics of the shaft. Designed, developed and validated the rotating and stationary hardware in the new product.
• Selected the required mechanical seal for different pumped fluid according to API 682
• Prepared supportive technical information of a product for different manufacturing lines. Prepared Bill of Material of a new product, determined the required material for casting parts according API610 and ASTM and determined the standard parts such as bearing, screws and plugs according to DIN. Prepared 2D drawing and 3D modeling for different parts with Autocad and Solidworks. Determined tolerances and smoothness for different surfaces according to DIN. Provided assembly drawings of the pump, coupling and motor.
• Checked quality control documents including dimensional test report according to DIN tolerances, balancing test report according to ISO 1940, hydrostatic test report according to API610 and material test report of according ASTM standards.
• Contributed in the performance test of pumps in the lab and site to derive the performance curve, NPSHR curve and power-capacity curve and compared them with the expected ones.
• Checked the performance test of a centrifugal process pump and find out the problems and solution for them.
• Collaborated with quality control team and checked quality control test performance, results and reports in accordance with QCP and ITP.
• Collaborated with project management team to provide the operational schedule for different manufacturing activities.
Application Engineer, (April. 2004- Sep. 2006)
• Worked on more than 40 tenders out of which 10 were successful and awarded to the company.
• Reviewed specifications and client’s requirements and selected the best required pump assembly.
• Prepared data sheets and required drawing for clients.
• Prepared cost estimate of a project for different tenders.
• Communicated with clients and customers to clarify required scope.
• Attended technical clarification meetings as requested by customers
• Organized technical information, pricing and procedures into retrievable and efficient information system.
2- Tahvie Pouya Co., Tehran.
Design Intern (Apr 2002 – Sep 2002)
