Position: Consultant
Coordination, enhancement, and development of new strategies for a young company. Review and approve outgoing
documents, liaison between customers and business, audit ongoing relationships as well as web enhancements and modifications.
Recreate business development strategies for this international company for local sales agents. Communicate and educate, as
well as develop ongoing concise documentation.
VIACOM/CBS (2005 – 2009)
Position: PeopleSoft/JDE Manager Application Development/Liaison between Business and Technical Staff/Project Manager (PeopleSoft
versions 8.9-9.0), JDE One World XE, JDE World, external systems). To be noted, that 90% of the work involved JDE/PeopleSoft.
Application Support - Primary contact for all PeopleSoft/JDE application issue resolutions, questions, and proposed
enhancements. PeopleSoft/JDE applications included Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement,
Fixed Assets, Job Costing, Budgeting, and Multi-Currency), Sales Order Processing (inventory and order processing), Security
Workbench, as well as customized applications.
Project Management – involvement in PeopleSoft SDLC from inception to completion. Wrote detailed requirements
specifications based on functional specifications. Wrote, or was heavily involved in writing test plans, coordinating users to be involved
in the testing, as well as scheduling and monitoring of projects – leading weekly status meetings, resolving issues, disseminating required
activities, and ensuring that all phases of projects were completed on time, and when necessary, escalating issues to proper management.
Wrote test scripts for UAT, coordinated UAT user group, and ensured proper UAT completion and signoff.
Interfaces - Designed PeopleSoft Z-File interfaces within PeopleSoft application suites to connect with other systems. Created
and modified Event Rules in UBE’s, applications, business functions, etc. Performed analysis with business, and prepared requirement
definition documents for conversions and interface programs.
User/Technical Documentation – Created for new PeopleSoft projects/enhancements, wrote user manuals as well as technical
documentation.
Sarbanes Oxley Compliance - Responsible for PeopleSoft SOX submissions. Attended quarterly meetings with internal and
external auditors, and maintained all SOX-related documents for PeopleSoft, as well as ensured that SDLC was SOX compliant.
Support to programming staff - Reviewed with them design documents, assisted in PeopleSoft/JDE programming when
necessary (creating/modifying event rules in UBEs, applications, business functions, etc.). Created UAT Test scripts and oversaw testing
from inception to completion.
BLACKSTONE GROUP (2003 – 2004)
Position: PeopleSoft Project Manager/Systems Analyst and Developer/Liaison (Consultant)
Under the direction of VP of Finance, met with business units with regards to enhancements and design of new systems to
integrate with JDE/PeopleSoft.
Evaluated departmental usage of PeopleSoft applications within all financial areas, and documented current state, as well as
areas in need of improvement. For those areas needing improvement, recommended and documented enhancements, with the goal of
achieving a higher level of departmental efficiency and use of JDE system. An example of this was the company not using the job costing
subsystem at all. Trained the users, oversaw UAT, created user documentation, and they successfully integrated the job cost module into
their business, automating many items that were previously done manually.
Developed PeopleSoft user requirements and system specifications - sole PeopleSoft support for client. Developed written
requirements specifications, which were approved by upper management, and were the basis to develop design specifications.
Programmed (modified UBE event rules and created a multitude of new UBEs), documented and trained users on new systems -
Wrote all PeopleSoft programs, performed unit testing, wrote system documentation, and oversaw UAT testing with business.
When applicable, trained users on new enhancements and/or modifications, as well as PeopleSoft specific modules.
Advised on PeopleSoft system enhancements - technical and functional.
ALPHARMA (2001 – 2003)
