Achievements and Career History
Sinclair Broadcast Group November 2010-March 2011
As Marketing Coordinator for SBG's MobiDeals Mobile Marketing
product I successfully provided timely and effective internal
Customer Service to various markets across the US to help drive
growth of this service. I consistently met my own bi-monthly
submission deadlines while assisting other team members in meeting
theirs. Was also responsible for generating tracking reports for
product submissions, along with monitoring proper billing protocols
and correcting billing errors promptly to assure the company
captured all available revenues. Created a report that helped
identify and reduce errors originating with our production
department, which resulted in faster and more accurate posting of
marketing products to both the Mobile and internet sites.
BlipIt Mobile, LLC May 2008-October 2010
As founder of BlipIt Mobile I put together a special team of
professionals with technical and marketing expertise. BlipIt Mobile
sought to exploit and develop a unique approach to Mobile Marketing
not used by most new or established Mobile Marketing firms. In
leading this project I drew upon my previous marketing experience
and successes in Fiber Optics to fruitfully engage a variety of C
and VP-level executives in many industries, as well as generate and
measure consumer interest, engagement and feedback.
Some of my responsibilities included identifying potential funding
sources and partnership opportunities, establishing contact with
them and presenting the BlipIt concept and opportunity. I also
conducted copious market research of retailers and OEM's to better
understand their needs and how Mobile Marketing could successfully
integrate with their current marketing practices. At the same time I
led the effort to gather and quantify anecdotal consumer research to
better understand consumer mindset and psychology in relation to
Mobile Marketing recognition, usage, acceptance and adoption.
One result of my actions was that BlipIt Mobile was chosen as one of
three subject companies by the University of Tampa MBA program
Center for Entrepreneurship. Our unique concept was overwhelmingly
and enthusiastically embraced by both student participants and the
Deans who provided oversight for this program, along with students
and faculty at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. I then
directed strategy to combine the results of our marketing and
research activities with the technical development of BlipIt
Mobile's cutting edge service.

Verizon Telecom, Inc. Jan. 2005 - September 2009
As a Fiber Optic Technician my responsibilities included building,
splicing, testing and documentation of FTTP plant. I co-ordinated
my efforts with those of the team to achieve effective and accurate
results with regards to customer activation and service. Other
activities included night cuts, troubleshooting and fixing outages,
as well as "running jobs". My extensive background and experience
was constantly tapped as a resource to assist in Verizon achieving
its goal of market domination.
I also was the liaison for Verizon on a Safety Pilot Program
conducted by Remedy Interactive, Inc. in the Tampa market. This
study was designed to measure and determine causes of work place
injuries, and then introduce protocol and procedures to help
mitigate or eliminate such injuries. I organized and coordinated 25
meetings over a three month period between upper management, middle
management and craft technicians. The results of these meetings were
forwarded to Remedy Interactive and then followed up in meetings
with corporate officers in NY.
*Used this period of time to move my family from NY to FL* Dec.

North Atlantic Communications/FTx Solutions, LLC Jan. 2004 -
Dec. 2004
Partnered with Pat Ehman, the longtime owner of North Atlantic
Communications, to form FTx Solutions, LLC. This new company
provided comprehensive fiber optic services to cable TV MSO's,
college campuses and private companies. Responsibilities included
identifying and purchasing necessary equipment such as single
splicers, ribbon splicers, end to end test sets, live fiber
identifiers and OTDR's. I did extensive work on existing plant in
Manhattan's underground system. Entered live closures, identified
proper fibers and then cut in 12 or 24 counts to tie in to new
customers. Then hung a cabinet in the customer's office, built,
spliced, tested and documented the new service. Also connectorized
and installed large amounts of jumpers on several college campuses
in the NY area.
Next, I went to Tampa, FL with FTx to help kick off Verizon's new
FTTP build. I was responsible for interfacing with contractors above
me, as well as with Verizon's local managers, to assure that we met
stringent deadlines for work completion. Quickly become adept at the
unique requirements of building an FTTP system. Trained the
contractor above us on how to properly build and splice 864 count
ribbon cables. Was identified as the most accurate, efficient and
dependable splicing contractor on the job.
I.B.E.W. Local 25 July. 2003 - Dec. 2003
As a member of Local 25 I placed CAT5 cables for various businesses
and school systems. I also participated in installation of complete
phone systems for existing and new builds. Helped wire for video one
of NY's largest OTB buildings, which was located on Long Island. I
helped wire for approximately fifty 19 inch TV's, twelve 60 inch
TV's and one 12 foot big screen TV. I also used my fiber optic
skills to assist the local power company, the Long Island Power
Authority, in completing one of their local communications rings.

Cable Resources, Inc. Aug. 1994 - May 2003
Initiated contact with the owner of CRI and then established the
Fiber Optic Department for his company. Up until our meeting, CRI
exclusively provided services for copper activation in the Cable TV
industry. I took the department from zero revenue and one individual
(myself), to $15M annual revenue and 16 fully outfitted fiber
splicing vans and 22 full-time employees within 3 years. I
established accurate design protocol at the outset of an eight year
build for Cablevision Systems, Inc. This design accomplishment
solidified CRI's presence and allowed the company to receive 90% of
all fiber splicing work over the eight year period.
I then followed up with hiring and training five splicers and guided
them to train the other ten technicians. I established tight
guidelines in regards to building, splicing and testing plant cable,
in accordance with Siecor and ANSI standards. My expertise was also
utilized in training the six employees in CRI's Documentation
Department to establish acceptable procedures in documenting field
work. This work was accomplished in the challenging urban and rural
environments of metropolitan NY and Hartford, CT. I was also heavily
involved in launching field work for Cablevision's commercial
division, Lightpath, which is responsible for generating a large
percentage of revenue for the corporation.
