Sr. Program Manager, Western Region (2003-2009)

Provided leadership, direction, and coordination of cost estimating

functions for five manufacturing plants located along the West Coast and in

Mexico. Accountable to the Director of Engineering for the Western Region

with direct responsibility for leading vendor evaluation, material

acquisition, labor and job pricing, machine and production capacity

planning, packaging and shipping costs control, and design approval for

manufacturability.

. Led the quality management and document control and design for all

Western region manufacturing facilities, defining organizational

properties and processes for thousands of drawings and revisions.

. Created a new packaging design concept for a key customer, saving them

tens of thousands of dollars in freight and storage fees.

. Revised part tooling processes enabling a satisfied client to

eliminate a labor step on a high volume part that resulted in a

significant reduction in monthly labor costs.
