Thesis Project: "In vitro diffusion studies of a model for screening

dermatological formulations of Indomethacin to develop an optimum topical

dosage form"

. Various formulations for the in-vitro release of Indomethacin were

investigated using different topical bases with or without penetration

enhancers

. In vitro diffusion studies were conducted using Franz-Chin diffusion

cells with cellulose membrane and human cadaver skin as diffusion

barriers

. Analysis was done using UV Spectrometric method

. Various Physicochemical parameters related to Diffusion were

determined using Fick`s Law for Diffusion

. Data were treated with one way ANOVA and Tukey Post Hoc Analysis using

Microsoft Excel and Graph Pad Prism software.
