. Major contributor as part of 10-person team that converted Siemens' VoIP
SoftSwitch (HiQ8000) from a Solaris platform to a Linux platform in a
remarkable 4-month timeframe. The Linux platform (HiPath 8000) won a bake-
off sponsored by InfoWorld. The product was named 2005 "Product of the
Year" by Communications Solutions.
. Had total responsibility for the integration of third-party management
features into the Linux VoIP system.

Management System Development and System Testing (25 people, 4 groups)
. Built a group of teams to meet the challenge of introducing Advanced
Intelligent Network (AIN) services into the public switched telephone
network using the Siemens Fast Feature Platform. My teams provided all
aspects of the product development lifecycle, from requirements analysis,
systems design, services design and implementation, web page design and
implementation, system testing, field-testing and integration and
customer support.
. Attracted engineers and built them into top producers by creating an
environment where they were equipped to do their jobs and given
responsibility for their product areas.
. Put together an international team to bring the Siemens Access Integrator
Network Management System into the US market to provide management
interfaces for our Digital Subscriber Line units. My team did a major
conversion of the product, which had a successful US introduction.
