Reference to the above Job Vacancy appeared in the Web, I am interested in
joining your esteemed establishment for the above post. I am a professional
Art Director holding a Diploma in Graphic Designing & Mass Communication
with over 15 years of experience in the field of Media Advertising,
Marketing, Publishing, Printing and Outdoor publicity industries in
different agencies in Sri Lanka & the Middle East (8yrs. In Dubai -UAE).
During my tenure in Dubai I have actively involved in designing for
publications and handling Media & Outdoor advertising campaigns in
launching of Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) and Dubai International Academic
City (DIAC) in 2007
Over again in 2009, I returned to Sri Lanka. After my arrival, I decided
not to join an established agency, but to work as an independent Art
director / Art Consultant. This decision was taken in order to further
sharpen my capabilities at time and job management.
In this capacity I have been handling various job assignments of individual
clients in varied sectors such as Banking / Higher Education / Insurance /
Healthcare and Engineering. This diverse client portfolio and their
individual requirements have given me the opportunity to further expand my
creative talent in the Advertising /Publishing / Marketing and Printing
fields.
My job experience includes Conceptualisation, Art Direction, Visualization,
and producing visuals
(computer Generated / manual) for ATL / BTL Advertising & Marketing
Campaigns while having a good knowledge of pre-press & production,
experience in directing photo-shoots and execution of Final Art Works etc.
Further more I am specialised in Designing of Corporate identity,
Packaging, Retail Projects, Exhibition Stands, Signage, Display roll-ups,
and Preparing A/W for larger format digital Printing while having a good
knowledge of all kind of printing process such as Offset, Digital, Screen &
Flex printing etc...
