Experience

Memorial Medical Center 2001 2011

I’ve had multiple positions at Memorial Medical Center. I was a technical assistant from 2001 2003 in which I assisted

technologists with examinations, hung radiographs for the radiologists as well as uploaded exams on a PACS for

radiologist viewing and documented exams in the RIS. From 2003 2007 I was a CT technologist in which I trained

multiple technologists on the RIS, CT scanners and examination protocols. I scanned patients in a trauma environment,

documented in the RIS, and used workstations to create 3D images. I am currently a Clinical Applications Analyst. The

past two and a half years I have maintained the RIS and dictation system. I currently maintain eight clinical applications

throughout the hospital. My daily responsibilities include training end users, testing systems for upgrades, troubleshooting

issues and working with vendors to improve the application for the needs of the organization and end user.

Animal Medical Clinic 1999 2001

As a Veterinary Assistant, I performed laboratory, radiography and clerical duties as well as assisted with surgeries.

Lincoln Animal Hospital 1996 1999

As a Veterinary Assistant, I performed laboratory, radiography, and clerical duties as well as assisted with surgeries and

boarding of the animals.

Education

I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration/Health Information Systems.

Lincoln Land Community College 1999 2003

I obtained an Associates Degree in Radiography.

Skills

I have knowledge in Microsoft Office, HL7, Cerner EMR, PACS, Dictaphone Enterprise by Nuance and the integration of

the systems. I am able to work both independently as well as in a team environment. I thrive in both hectic and casual

environments with the urge to learn more within the world of HIS. I have a passion for detail, which is helpful when

combined with my analytical skills and problem solving capabilities. Training staff comes with ease and am able to break

down an application so it is understandable for any level of computer knowledge. I have trained Radiologists, residents on

dictation systems and technologists on Cerner Radnet and Powerchart that is integrated with the EMR.
