PROJECTS Mechanical Engineering Senior Design Project Spring 2011
www.teamaatv.posterous.com
• Collaborated in a team of six to create and design a fan powered line follower using an original
design programmed with an Arudino microprocessor.
• Provided recommendations on parts and materials used to decrease overall weight of vehicle by
100%
• Created Solidworks models and drawings as well as machined individual parts for final design.
Final Project Basic Engineering Design Spring 2009
• Worked in a team of five in order to compete in a class competition to design a real device that
extended in the horizontal direction without touching the ground using a limited number of
materials.
• Placed in the top ten of 30 designs.
• Modeled and produced engineering drawing of all parts on Solidworks, as well as exploded views
and assemblies.
Mechanical Behavior of Engineering Lab Work/ Technical Write ups Spring 2009
• Preformed experiments on various plastics and metals on fatigue, wear, cyclic deformation, and
tensile strength tests.
• Produced technical lab reports including experiment results and conclusions.
