. To cut costs, Support Services (Systems/Network Administrators,

. Sized all applications to run on VMware using PlateSpin Recon
reports.
. Proposed changes to their open systems environment which
improved their services at a lower cost by using server and
storage virtualization (blade centers integrated with SAN) along
with improved system management via ITIL.
. Major contributor to on demand deal (LAM Research- IBM Global

. This deal was structured so the customer paid for their usage,
not for servers or storage infrastructure.
. Acted as a lead solution architect on a deal to provide Hosted
Managed Services for virtualization of servers, storage and
networking.
. Tivoli Universal Management Infrastructure was used to allocate
and release resources as needed. UMI supported IBM open systems
and mainframe (AIX, DB2, Oracle, and MVS) environments.
. Improved competitiveness via tighter role integration (Welch Allyn
and HandHeld- IBM Global Services - 1989-2007) - 40 Million Revenue
. Consolidated the roles of database administrator, operating
system administrator, performance analyst and network analyst
into generalists who could perform routine tasks with no
